Members and supporters of Filipino American Christian Fellowship in Lynnwood, Wash. celebrated its 45th anniversary and inauguration of their new church building on Aug. 1.
Congregants marked the event with a church and dedication service, followed by a sumptuous community lunch.
Filipino American Christian Fellowship was founded in 1976 by the late Rev. Max D. Atienza and his wife, Sarah.
Over the the years, the congregation met in various locations, until its purchase of a residential property at 4521 188th St. SW, Lynnwood. Church members organized fund raising events and began construction of the church several years ago, culminating in the dedication of the church building.
